AREU along with the GIZ (German international cooperation) had organized a virtual tour to Germany at SelfChill Solar Cooling Innovation Center for the 75 RE-companies: and related stakeholders.
In the Livestream event, the University of Hohenheim had introduced solar cooling energy technology. The participants Experienced a unique showcase of the modular and scalable “cooling units” concept, how does a cooling machine works, and how it can reduce cooling system costs while creating specialized jobs locally. The main purpose of the event was to promote solar cooling technology, create jobs, reduce cold storage costs, and help the farmers to reduce the losses of their products due to the seasonality of the products as well as wastage of the agriculture products.
The training was covering a variety of areas including the diary, ice, cold rooms, and vegetables/fruits cold storage technology using the power of the sun and solar.
